Beaches in Penang: Penang Island has some of the world's most beautiful white sandy beaches. It is the country's most visited island beach resort. You can walk around the streets of Georgetown and admire its rich heritage of private mansions, colonial homes, Chinese pre-war houses and public buildings. Remember not to miss out the Little Indian, Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Chinatown, Khoo Kongsi and Peranakan Museum. You can also join a local tour to the Malay village to see the traditional batik factory, visit the world's famous Royal Selangor and the 25-acre Tropical Fruit Farm.
